Well i haven't updated my blog in quite some time, due to the fact that my internet has stopped working at home. Quite a lot has happened since my last blog. we have now finished our bodices in construction, created a pattern for the skirts we will be making next, used different darting techniques to create darts in different places on our bodice patterns, made a flat drawing of a t-shirt in illustrator, created a logo thingy in illustrator and had a trip to london!
The purpose of the trip to london was to do fabric sourcing, it was a really good day and i learnt quite a lot about fabrics and how they feel. for instance, i never knew how horrible silk can feel. i am definitely hoping to go back to some of the shops to get fabric in the future.
