TA DA! the finished peice. i am so so pleased with how the skirt has turned out, i had a few problems getting the skirt made because i accidentally did the right and wrong side together when attaching the side seams but i soon sorted it out. I really like my flowers and birds and it is so me! I know that most people had gone for really harsh lines and masculine shapes but i just wanted to create something feminine and beautiful to show that paper can be soft and alluring aswell.
After i had done the skirt i had loads of time to spare and the teacher (eek i can never rememeber her name!) suggested maybe using the rest of my birds to create something on the top half so i created a necklacy/collar thingamy that could be used as an accessory or could be attached to a basic top as a matching garment to the skirt. I am really please with how it turned out...

I really love this! You can't tell it's bird when they are all layered on top of one another which gives a great effect =]
